How to Place an Order
You can view the status of your basket by clicking the basket button in the navigation bar. When viewing your basket, you can correct any incorrect quantities or remove erroneous items if needed.
When you are finished, clicking the Checkout button will take you to the confirmation screen, which is where you are required to enter the billing and shipping information. Payments are allowed by Paypal, Nochex, Postal Order, Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Stamps or Cheque. (make all cheques payable to Saffron Electronics Ltd).
Please note: Orders are normally sent out via courier at 4pm (stock permitting), we are unfortunately unable to guarantee next-day delivery on all orders, due to stock availability.

We run a fair shipping & handling system at Battery Planet, we charge a £1 handling fee for each order (whether you order one item or 51 items, the cost is the same) plus postage. Our rates for std UK delivery are as follows: -

Returns Policy
If a product becomes faulty during the guarantee period, then we will arrange to have the unit tested/repaired where possible or replaced if this cannot be done. In some cases you may wish to return items for other reasons, in which case we will be happy to assist, though in some instances a handling charge may apply to cover re-stocking costs. Our sales staff will be able to advise you whether these apply during your call.
Please note that with the exception of faulty items, we will not accept the return of opened or used products, we can only accept back items that are in saleable condition.
If you do need to return an item to us, it will make the process much quicker and more efficient if you follow these steps:
• Contact our sales staff who will advise you of what needs to be done and what actions are being organised to resolve your query.
• If a return is to be made, ensure that the goods are packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
• Enclose a copy of the respective “Delivery Note” where possible or your account details if not. Advise the reason for the return and the required action, i.e. credit or replacement. (This will help to identify your account and ensure that the required actions are taken).
You may return faulty or damaged items to us at your expense and we will refund the cost, but only up to a maximum of £5.00, (our carrier cost). We will not refund the cost of postage for items that are not faulty or damaged unless otherwise agreed by us.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the correct product is purchased, we cannot accept returns due to mistake if the goods have been opened; if they remain unopened we can accept them back into stock for a small re-stocking fee of £5 per order - and we won't refund the cost of postage.
Delivery & Payment
All Orders are subject to a delivery charge due to the excess weight of batteries. Please contact us for all export orders to countries outside the list of countries in the shipping list .
We do not have a minimum order value - UK Mainland only.
We will despatch your goods by Second Class post or Carrier to UK-based customers. Goods are normally despatched on within 2-3 days of receipt of order (subect to stock availability). Carriage, is calculated on the weight of the goods you purchase.
We accept payment by Credit Card, Postal Order, Bank Transfer, Cheque or PAYPAL. We also accept payment on credit account with prior agreement - for all educational establishments, your account is already open and ready use, just contact a member of our sales staff and they will give you the relevant details. (Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm)
