Rechargeable batteries are available in both NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) and NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride), we only stock NiMh as these are now the mainstream of rechargeable batteries. These NiMh batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times and can cost less than a penny in electricity to charge a set of 4 rechargeable batteries. This represents a cost-effective way of powering those high drain electrical goods such as digital cameras, MP3's, PDAs and children's' toys. Rechargeable batteries are also more environmentally friendly than conventional batteries.

All rechargeable NiMh batteries come in varying capacities, so please ensure you pick the capacity required. High drain, high use equipment would be better served with a higher capacity battery.
